New Solo-Act "La Máquina"!

This act is a playful caricature of how to deal with the time pressure, that we impose on ourselves in every-day life.
How much can fit in 20 seconds? What is the consequence if we are too slow? And what happens if we get sick of the game?

Autumn juggling

I took advantage of the last warm days this year and took some photos. Now serious creation time starts again. Three weeks to go until my new Solo-Performance has to be ready for its Premiere...

 

Performance in "LUST 4"

Last weekend I performed three times with a few other students of ACaPA in a production from the dance centre Station Zuid in Tilburg.
The event took place in a former train repair shop - a huge hall with a length of 92m - and was announced like this


"Interactive megaproduction combining dance, singing, compositions, circusacts and guerrilla". 


The director of the Circus piece was Andrew Greenwood from Station Zuid, with whom we spend a very good week of creation.

...with a few upgrades on the blog
....and in an extraordinary mood to train a lot after a great summer with juggling conventions, where I had the chance to meet a bunch of very inspiring people!

I had a good start in Tilburg. Thanks to my juggling teachers Jonas Althaus and Luke Wilson.

Premiere and time for holidays!

After a successful premiere of "Après-quoi!" at Circustheraterdagen on 3rd June 2011 with loads of positive feedback the Duo takes a short holiday to have a fresh start in august with performances in Germany and the Netherlands. Thanks to all our supporters, especially Jonas Althaus and Joris van der Midde, who helped us a lot during the creation. The baby is born and growing. We are happy.

Anni & Thibault at Rotterdam Circusstad Festival 2011

We performed "Après-Quoi!" last weekend at the Festival. Nice weather, nice audience, nice shows. The video shows some impressions from the Festival (our performance at 6 min 40).

Now we started working on an extended version of the act! The piece will be about 20min. long. We already had two inspirational working sessions with our stage diretor Joris van der Midde.
