For the International Juggler's Association Greg Owsley wrote in his official review of the EJC 2012:
"For example, I had the privilege to do some one club manipulation
jamming with Anni Küpper. I first heard about her from Kyle Johnson last
year at the incredible Arkansas juggling convention. Kyle credited her
for the inspiration of his amazing three club rolling over the stomach
trick (I don’t know the official name of the trick). She is an awesome
human being. Moreover, she competed at the first special show at the
EJC. This show compiled a half dozen circus school jugglers to compete
for an opportunity to open the EJC Gala show. Anni performed with only
one club with her hands tied around her back. She did several cool
versions of body rolls and even balanced the club on the back of her
heel at one point. Her act raised the roof; it was great to see her
experience success."
Thanks a lot Greg. Our one club jam was fun! Hope to meet you back next summer.

EJC Gala Show!
On this year's European Juggling Convention (EJC) - the biggest Juggling Festival in Europe which took place in Poland - I had the chance to perform on the Gala Show!
After participating in the "Circus School Showdown" competition where a jury evaluated the six different acts performed by circusschool students from all over Europe, my act won the first price which was rewarded with 200€ and a performance on the Gala Show of EJC.
It was a great pleasure to perform for this amazing audience of jugglers who gave me all support that I could have wished for and lovely feedback for my act. Thank you so much!

Groupshow "I am not here"
Time was flying during these last four weeks of creation, in which the 2nd and 3rd year of Tilburg's circusschool ACaPA prepared the groupshow "I am not here" - thanks to our two directors Arjan Gebraad and Karolien Verlinden. A good working atmosphere led to a respectable result that was rewarded with lots of compliments after the two performances in Tilburg Concertzaal. Good times!
Thanks also to Jostijn Ligtvoet for taking these great shots right before and during the performance:

Duo
It's been a while since my duo-partner Thibo and me could work together. However, the Duo shall be continued and we are back with a new concept.
Here's a video of extracts from our act how we performed it on a juggling convention a year ago (I got the footage only two weeks ago).
I still like this act, but it's also good to see how our artistical vision has changed over the past months.

La Máquina
So this is how the first version of "La Máquina" looks like. It fell down twice so there are already a few features missing in this video. During the next week I will gather material so I can construct a new and better one now which also is transportable.

New Solo-Act "La Máquina"!
This act is a playful caricature of how to deal with the time pressure, that we impose on ourselves in every-day life.
How much can fit in 20 seconds? What is the consequence if we are too slow? And what happens if we get sick of the game?
These photos were taken by Petra Overbeek Bloem during the premiere in december.
